I LOVE these boots. I have wider thighs and most thigh-high boots don't fit on me. However, these boots can go over my thighs perfectly fine. They do slide down if you walk, but nothing a little fashion tape can't fix. They are super comfortable too, so you don't have to sacrifice that for style and looking cute. I got a size 38 and my shoe size is usually 7. I think I could have sized down but the size is fine if I wear some thicker socks.
